Steel and Outfitting Construction

Shipbuilding steel is used extensively in ship construction, with thick plates being the most common form. All materials, including steel, become more brittle as the temperature decreases, which is critically important for shipbuilding plates.

Shaft and Rudder Works

During ship construction, the process involves installing shaft blocks and tail blocks. Traditionally, shaft blocks are installed without the propeller, followed by the alignment of the shaft and tail centers before installing the propeller and proceeding with the tail block processes.
